Commercial Cold Holdings (CCH) is proud to announce the latest addition to our growing network: iDube Cold Storage in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. This acquisition reinforces our commitment to expanding the cold chain across Africa and strengthens our position as one of the top 25 largest cold storage and logistics providers in the world. By integrating iDube into our operations, we continue to add proud links to the CCH Cold Chain, ensuring a robust and reliable network that supports food security across the continent.
Expanding Our Capacity and Reach
The iDube facility brings 9,000 pallets of refrigerated capacity into our Durban network, increasing our total capacity in KwaZulu Natal to 25,000 pallet positions. This addition is not just about growing numbers; it’s about strategically enhancing our capabilities in key regions. By expanding our footprint in Durban, we’re better equipped to serve our customers with the efficiency and reliability they expect from CCH.
This acquisition also expands our overall capacity across South Africa and Namibia, now totaling 153,000 pallet positions across 11 facilities. Each new link in our cold chain strengthens our ability to meet the growing demands of the food supply chain, ensuring that we can continue to support food security in an increasingly complex and dynamic market.
