CCH welcomes PECS as another proud link in our Cold Chain

CCH is proud to welcome PE Cold Storage (PECS) into the CCH Cold Chain. This is more than an acquisition. It is a step forward in reliability, reach, and service for exporters and producers who trust us to move temperature-controlled goods with care.

What this means for PECS customers

They will continue to receive the service PECS is known for, now strengthened by CCH’s broader platform, systems, and resources. Our network spans 12 facilities across South Africa and Namibia, giving you more booking options, tighter turnarounds, and consistent standards across sites.

With PECS on board, CCH now operates over 162,000 pallets of temperature-controlled capacity under roof, and handles more than 2 million pallets of food each year. All sites will operate on a common ERP (Sage X3) and Warehouse Management System stack (Prophet QX and Infios e3pl), which supports visibility, traceability, and smooth hand-offs across the platform. 

We maintain the compliance and certifications required to service all major export markets, including the EU, USA, UK, Middle East, Far East, and Asia.

Why PECS matters

PECS strengthens a critical export corridor in the Eastern Cape and integrates alongside CCH Greenbushes to link pre-cooling, cold sterilisation, and on-terminal moves. The result is a smoother path to vessel and faster turns for fruit exporters.
