A Cold Chain for Africa
There is enough food in Africa to feed the continent. But almost 40% of the food farmed and caught gets spoilt or wasted, because it isn’t safely stored and transported within a cold chain. The Global Cold Chain Alliance supports the expansion of the Cold Chain throughout Africa, and CCH is working with them every step of the way to ensure food security for the continent.

Through Investing and growing Africa's cold storage infrastructure, CCH increases food security and quality for the continent.
A Pan-African Cold Chain
As 40% of all food produced in Africa perishes due to a lack of adequate cold chain infrastructure availability, there is a clear need and huge spectrum to grow the African cold chain offering - both within individual countries, and across the continent.
By bringing our skills, experience, and investment to these markets, we are growing the cold chain, supporting farmers and food producers, reducing wastage, increasing efficiencies, and working towards greater food security in Africa
